Simmer Pot - Golden Hour

Set it on the stove and the whole house changes: dried orange and bergamot lifting bright off the steam, rosemary running cool underneath, cinnamon, clove and allspice settling in warm and low behind them. Within minutes it reaches the back bedroom. It is the smell of a house that is expecting people.

In the jar
Dried orange slices, dried rosemary, cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, allspice berries, and pure bergamot essential oil. One simmer pot, packed in an 8 oz glass jar with a pine lid.

Ready to give
Every jar comes tied with ribbon and finished with a gift tag that carries the simmering instructions so that it can go straight into someone's hands. No wrapping, no note explaining what to do with it.

To use
Empty the jar into 4 cups of water. Bring to a boil, reduce to low, and let it fill the house. Top off with water as it reduces.

To reuse
Cool completely, refrigerate covered, and re-simmer for up to 3 days. Discard when the scent fades.

Keep the jar
Wash the glass by hand and wipe the pine lid with a damp cloth, and it goes straight back to work: loose tea in the pantry, spices by the stove, cotton rounds on the bathroom shelf.
